CS2 is one of the most popular esports titles among players across Asia and globally. remi189 covers all major CS2 tournaments, including ESL Pro League, IEM, and BLAST.

Valorant is growing rapidly across the Asia-Pacific region, including Malaysia. The VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) brings fierce competition from the best teams in the region.
LoL Worlds ranks among the most-watched esports tournaments on the planet. remi189 offers full markets for Worlds, LCK (Korean League) and LPL (Chinese League).

If you live in Malaysia and are part of the gaming community, you've seen firsthand how rapidly the esports scene has grown in recent years. From Kuala Lumpur shopping malls hosting MLBB LAN parties to packed esports arenas in Penang and Johor Bahru — this is no longer a niche hobby. It's a serious industry.
Malaysia has several professional esports teams competing on the international stage. Team SMG and Todak in MLBB, and Malaysian Valorant rosters flying the flag at VCT — these are the country's representatives going head-to-head with the best teams in the world. The pride of seeing a Malaysian team win is no different from cheering on the Harimau Malaya or Lee Zii Jia on the badminton court.
At remi189, we get that feeling. That's why we put a spotlight on Malaysian esports — our MPL MY coverage is among the most comprehensive you'll find on any local betting platform. Every match, every map, every series — we're there with odds updated in real time.

Malaysian e-sports team performance statistics this season
Esports betting goes far beyond simply picking a match winner. Unlike traditional sports, which mostly offer basic markets, esports opens up a unique range of betting angles you won't find anywhere else. At remi189, you can bet on markets that are far more specific and engaging.
For MLBB, for instance, beyond the match winner market, remi189 also offers markets such as "who gets First Blood", "total kills at the 10-minute mark", "which team destroys the first Turtle", and "total maps in a Best of 3 series". Each of these markets gives you more ways to put your in-depth knowledge of the game and its teams to good use.
For CS2, advanced markets include round handicap, first half winner, total rounds over or under a set line, and overtime winner. These are markets that appeal most to players who genuinely understand the maps, team playstyles, and the strategies each side employs.
Your first deposit will be matched 100% up to RM500. Use the bonus to bet on MPL, CS2, Valorant and more at remi189. Terms & conditions apply.
Everything you need to know before betting on your favourite esports matches
Who wouldn't feel proud watching a Malaysian team compete on the world stage? Over the past few years, Malaysia has produced some major names in international esports. Team SMG has not only dominated MPL Malaysia but proven capable of competing at the M-Series World Championship against the best teams from around the globe. Todak, meanwhile, has established itself as a consistently strong side with a track record that shows they truly belong at the highest level of MLBB.
What makes following Malaysian esports so exciting is that you can track a team's entire journey from the start of a season all the way to the grand finals. Unlike international football tournaments that only come around a few times a year, MPL Malaysia runs two seasons annually with a consistent weekly match schedule. That means there is a new match to watch and bet on at remi189 every single week.
Many players who started out betting on traditional sports like the Malaysia Super League or EPL have made the switch to e-sports after trying it for the first time on remi189 — and there are some solid reasons why. For one, e-sports tournaments run year-round with no lengthy off-season. Unlike football leagues that go quiet for months at a time, MPL Malaysia alone offers two full seasons a year, with matches running almost every weekend.
Second, information on e-sports teams and players is far more accessible than ever. Match statistics, head-to-head records, win rates on specific maps, hero pick tendencies and much more — all of it is readily available on community sites and esports analytics platforms. This means that bettors who put in the research have a significant edge in making informed decisions, rather than relying purely on instinct.
Third, esports has an incredibly active fan community in Malaysia. Reddit forums, team Discord servers, and YouTube and TikTok channels dedicated to MLBB and CS2 are invaluable sources of information. When you understand the current game meta, which heroes or weapons are dominating, and how specific teams adapt their playstyle, your betting decisions at remi189 become far more informed than a simple guess.
One of the most popular features among esports bettors at remi189 is in-play betting. Unlike pre-match wagering, in-play betting lets you enter markets while the game is live — and in esports, the momentum can shift dramatically within seconds.
Picture this MLBB scenario: the first map of a Best of 3 series is dominated by the underdog. They build a commanding gold lead by the 12-minute mark and have already taken down two Lords. Before the match, the underdog's odds to win the overall series might have been 2.50. But after taking the first map, those odds could shift to 1.90. At this point, remi189 players watching live have two interesting options — jump in while there is still value in the odds, or hold off to see how the opposing team responds in the second map.
Mastering in-play betting in e-sports requires you to actually watch the match and read the momentum of the game. Checking the score alone is not enough — you need to understand gold difference, objectives secured, hero compositions or current lineups, and how much time remains. This is what separates serious e-sports bettors from casual ones, and remi189 provides the platform to put that knowledge to work.
